Hi! I'm Camille — a music educator who believes every child deserves lessons that feel approachable, engaging, and completely their own.
With more than a decade of experience teaching in schools, colleges, and private studios, I specialize in adapting lessons to meet each student’s unique learning style. Whether your child is a total beginner, neurodivergent, or just unsure about trying music, I’m here to support them with creativity, empathy, and a whole lot of patience.
Since joining Maestro Music in 2022, I’ve worked with families across the country to create music lessons that click — even for the most reluctant learners.

Teaching Style & Approach
My lessons focus on helping students take ownership of their music. That means blending solid technical skills (yes, we’ll use method books!) with space for creativity and self-expression — whether your child wants to play Beethoven, belt Taylor Swift, or groove along to a favorite drum track.
I believe in teaching the whole musician. We explore:
-
Piano, percussion, and vocal techniques
-
Music theory and how it connects to real songs
-
Tools to build confidence, discipline, and joy
Academic Background
I hold a Master’s in Conducting from UC Santa Cruz.
I’ve taught at institutions like:
-
Cabrillo, Gavilan, and Hartnell Community Colleges
-
All Saints’ Day School and York School
-
Santa Cruz El Sistema and Music for Minors
-
And many more schools and programs over the years!
If you're looking for a teacher who will truly meet your child where they are, cheer them on every step of the way, and make music a highlight of their week — I’d love to connect.
