How do I begin?

What instruments do you teach?

We offer lessons in piano, voice, guitar, bass, percussion, and ukulele. If your child is interested in another instrument, reach out to us — we're always expanding our offerings.

In addition to one-on-one lessons, we offer a self-paced Elementary Music Course. This course focuses on voice and basic percussion, but it's a great starting point for any beginner.

Do I need any musical background to enroll?

Not at all! Our lessons cater to beginners and experienced learners alike. Our instructors tailor lessons to each student's skill level and goals.

How are lessons conducted?

Lessons are held online via Zoom. When you sign up, we'll send you information on how to adjust your Zoom audio settings to optimize it for live lessons.

After your lessons, you'll automatically receive lesson recordings through your website profile. This gives your child an opportunity to review concepts as much as they need to between lessons.

Can parents attend lessons?

Absolutely! Parents are encouraged to sit in, especially with younger students.

Our lessons are automatically recorded and sent to your student portal, so you can also review materials later if you want to.

How should we prepare for the first lesson?

Do your best to ensure the instrument is in good working condition and tuned. Choose a quiet, distraction-free space for the lesson. Having the instrument ready will help the session run smoothly.

It's okay if you don't know how to tune it, or if you don't yet have an instrument, though! Our expert instructors can offer advice on instrument purchasing, and they can teach students how to properly tune their instruments during the trial lesson.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule your lesson. If you miss a lesson without notice, that lesson credit will be forfeited. Lessons cannot be rolled over into the next month.

We do our absolute best to accommodate families whenever possible, while respecting the time of our expert educators. Thank you for understanding!

How much do lessons cost?

Our pricing plans are as follows:

Overture Plan: $75/month for one 30-minute lesson every other week.
Allegro Plan: $150/month for one 30-minute lessons per week.
Sonata Plan: $280/month for one 60-minute (or two 30-minute) lesson(s) per week.
Concerto Plan: $360/month for one 90-minute (or three 30-minute) lesson(s) per week.

All plans include two annual recitals and free curriculum. You can visit our tuition page for more details.

If you are using ESA Funds or Charter Funds, lessons are usually fully covered.

Do you accept charter or ESA funds?

Yes, we work with various charter schools and Education Savings Accounts. Please check out or ESA Funds page and Charter Funds page for more details. Or fill out the form above to discuss your specific situation.

What kind of tech setup do we need?

A stable internet connection, a device with a webcam (like a laptop or tablet), and your instrument of choice are all you need. If you don't have your instrument yet and want your teacher's input first, that's fine too. They're happy to offer instrument-buying advice during the trial lesson!

Headphones and an external mic can improve audio quality, but they’re not required.
