Hi, I'm McKinley!
I'm a lifelong musician. I started out playing along with music by ear on a keyboard at 6 years old, and I honed my abilities throughout my childhood, writing music and playing in local bands, before earning my bachelor's degree in music composition in 2014.
Since then, I've taught thousands of private lessons and built systems of progress for each instrument I specialize in. I've been playing piano, guitar, and alto saxophone for over 20 years, and bass guitar and drums for over 10. I specialize in theory and the physical application of musical technique, and I love the moments when a new concept clicks for a student, bringing them to a new level of understanding and musicianship.
